High Bluff Cemetery Photos

William Harris and Lucinda Hiers Harris
View of their grave and the church for reference.

William Harris and Lucinda Hiers Harris are my paternal 2nd great-grandparents.

They say Jabez Dowling is buried here, but there is no marker for him. He fought in the War of 1812. Jabez is my paternal 4th great-grandfather.

They say James Dowling is buried here, but there is no marker for him. James is my paternal 3rd great-grandfather.

The cemetery is between Hoboken and Waycross on 82. From Hoboken intersection (121 & 82), head west toward Waycross and go 3.9 miles. Turn left on High Bluff Rock Road. Drive 1.2 mile and cemtery will be on your right.

There are lots of graves in this cemetery. There is also a guide on the bulletin board. You can go to Find a Grave to do more research.

You can also go to this site for a list of names. High Bluff They do not let you right-click and copy, but do let you contact them for information.

You can also go to another site for a list of names. BRANTLEY COUNTY HISTORICAL AND PRESERVATION SOCIETY
